Osama Al-Baik is a quality-oriented professionl with over 15 years of experience and technical expertise in diverse range of technologies within multiple industry settings. He is a Certified Master Black Belt (MBB), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Project Manager (CPM), and ITIL Certified.
Osama has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master's degree in Software Engineering from DePaul University, USA. He is currently a doctoral candidate at University of Alberta in Canada; his research interests have been in Lean Operations, Process Improvements and Optimization, and Lean Product Development.
James Miller received his BSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. Subsequently, he worked at the United Kingdom’s National Electronic Research Initiative on Pattern Recognition as a Principal Scientist, before returning to the University of Strathclyde to accept a lectureship.
James is the principal investigator in a number of research projects that investigate software verification, validation and evaluation issues across various domains, including embedded, web-based and ubiquitous environments. He has published over one hundred refereed journal and conference papers, and sits on the editorial board of the JESE.
Ahmed Samir received his M.Sc. in Total Quality Management from AAST, Egypt. Ahmed has many professional certifications, to mention a few, he is an Accredited Training Associate (ATA) by IASSC, ISSBB Certified, Lead Auditor IRCA certified, and TTT Certified.
With over 15 years of experience, Ahmed has demonstrated accumulative success in various industrial settings, where he has led the implementation and the improvement of international quality standards such as ISO 50001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, EMS ISO 14001, and ISO/TS 16949. Ahmed is currently the Director of the Lean Six Sigma Training programs, and the Vice-Preisdent, Business Development in the Middleeast.
Ellie Zamel received her Education in Political Economy from University of Alberta, Canada. Ellie has many years of experience in marketing, devloping sales procedures, as well as hand-on experience in selling value added products through a selective.
With over 10 years of experience, Ellie has demonstrated accumulative success in various industrial settings. Ellie has an active commitment to continuous improving quality standards when performing statistical analysis of industry and economic data. Ellie has many professional certification and currently the Vice President, Marketing & Strategic Alliance in North America, Middleeast and North Africa.
Krysta McNutt is a PMP certified and a certified organizational change consultant and coach. She is passionate about helping change-makers express their mission with confidence through personality coaching, brand consulting and personal/professional development.
Krysta has many years of experience as both, a project manager and change manager in various technical and organizational settings. Krysta has delivered customized corporate coaching and professional development workshops based on world-class best practices. Krysta is a trained coach by Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and she has mastered the Tara Mohr's Playing Big leadership development model.
Ammar Harb received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Portland State University, Oregon, USA. Ammar has worked with the distinguished professor Jay Gopalakrishnan on several research projects.
Ammar is currently working at Portland State University as a research associate. Ammar has more than 15 years of teaching experience in various prestigious Universities in North America and the Middle-east. Ammar has taught calculus, linear algebra, and statistical quality at basic levels at Bachelor’s level courses, and more advanced levels for MBA programs. Ammar has interests in numerical methods for partial differential equations and infinite element and discontinuous Galerkin methods.
Hany Abdelhamid has a Master degree in Computer Information Systems. Hany has many professional certifications, to mention a few, he is a PMP Certified, Certified ITIL V3 Expert, TOGAF 9 Certified, Certified CRISC, Certified CGEIT, and Certified MCSE.
With over 15 years of experience, Hany has demonstrated accumulative success in various footprints including IT Service Management, IT Operation and Infrastructure Assessment, Process Improvement, Business Transformation, IT Strategic Planning, Enterprise Architecture, IT Governance, IT Audits; and implementing international IT quality standards such as ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27001, CMMI, and BS25999.
Ovais received his Ph.D. in experimental software engineering from University of Oulu, Finland. Ovais is a research fellow in the empirical software engineering data intensive systems and services research unit. Ovais is specialized in Kanban implementation.
Ovais is currently working at University of Oulu as a research associate. Ovais has more than 10 years of experience in helping small-to-medium Software development organization in implementing the Lean best practices. Ovais has published many referred journal articles showing his success stories in leading the transformation of these organizations into Lean organizations.
Sachin Ahuja has Master in Business Administration (MBA) in HR and Operation. Six Sigma Master Black Belt, PMP, ITIL, and Kaizen event expert.
With over 16 years of experience, has worked in four continents in Process Innovation & Engineering in Financial Services, Health care & Telecom. His niche being in developing operational governance and surveillance structures with a focus on process optimization and re-engineering, along with client relationship management, account development & retention, change management, with clients such as General Electric, Prudential, WIPRO & IBM.
Poushali Datta has Master in Business Administration (MBA. Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, PMP, ITIL, and Kaizen event expert.
With over 14 years of experience, and track record to successfully bring strategy to execution. Has successfully led programs that link together performance management, continuous improvement combined with a pragmatic organizational development approach. Her analytical approach provides the strong ability to see patterns and trends and helps her see the big picture. She demonstrates strong strategic thinking, combined leveraging Lean Six Sigma processes.
